Product Description

This Photograph is a Favorite of mine I have sold over 200 prints and canvases, I love it. The shot is amazing. Taken with Sigma 10-20mm lens fitted to a Canon EOS 7D.

The river is part of an 18th century irrigation system passing past Staups Mill Jumble Hole, Charles Town, Eastwood, Todmorden just on the boarder of Hebden Bridge West Yorkshire. The Bridge itself bridges the gap between the site of Cow Brigde Cottages and Cow Bridge Mill. 12 men and 18 women worked there in 1851 from Blackshaw Head.

Now then I used a little Elven trickery taught to me by Lord Elrond himself. I had to wait and wait I did. The water which runs down Bridgeroyd Dyeworks is very earthy and takes on a deep rich brown coffee peat colour, after substanail rainfall. The day was overcast with heavy rain clouds (Nimbostratus). The light was dull the water was rich.

I did not have to incorporate Nuteral Density Filters (ND Grads) all i simply did was to use the conditions lent to me By mother nature. Using a Manefrotto Tripod 190 x DB and a Canon Remote Switch RS 80n3. I used the Time Value settings and the View Finder Grid Lines on my Canon EOS 7D.

It is one of the photographs that gos across the slider at the top of the home page. Polite note canvas prints are STILL avalible back by popular demand.
